I have it on very good recommendation that the new release of Quo Vadis on Blu-Ray is absotively breathtaking. I have mine on order & if you liked it first time around, or at any time since on VCR, DVD, or just plain ol' TV, you will without doubt love it on Blu-Ray--assuming you have the Blu-Ray player. My husband and I received one for Christmas from our son, and I was blown away at how much clearer everything is, and how amazing the colors show up.
If you have a Blu-Ray player, put in your order for Quo Vadis, being released officially on March 17, 2009. Here's the link:

BTW: To celebrate the release of this fantastic new version of Quo Vadis, I did a radio interview today with Dick Dinman, who told me all about it. Dick is the wonderful host of DVD Classics Corner:

We discussed at great length Robert Taylor's involvement in the 1947 HUAC meetings, and what that period meant to his career. I will post the link to that voice interview as soon as Dick makes it available.
Here's a tidbit about Bob in Quo Vadis -- he was horrendously embarrased about having to be onscreen so much wearing costumes which left his legs bare . . . showing too much skin, in his opinion.
