June: I certainly appreciate your kind words. I write bios to find out about the heart & soul of someone whose work I've admired, or whose life has been a stand-out for whatever reason. For me, Robert Taylor fit both of those qualifications, & proved to have carried out a solid, family-oriented lifestyle ... taking part in the raising of three wonderful children to adulthood (the 3rd, his step-daughter, Manuela, wasn't there when I took this photo).

What a lovely family photo. You book has been a revelation in more ways than one in joining Robert Taylor's fans together in such a fantastic website. So glad to a member.

Thank you Linda, it is nice to know that Terry and Tessa have visited the site. I hope Ursula
gets better. As for their publicity, i understand

Bryan: Terry's seen the site & is happy w/it, & he & Tessa have given their blessing. Ursula's not well. As for a recent photo ... for starters, they're not in the same area of the country--Terry is on the east coast & Ursula & Tessa on the west coast. I'll be honest, none want to be publicly noticed or noted these days. They're happy their dad/husband is being celebrated & getting the attn he deserves all these years later, but they don't want their lives in any way publicized. If that changes, if a photo becomes available, I'll post it. In the meantime, I can post shots of Terry from a # of yrs ago & will do so in the next few days ... but from what I've seen--Terry hasn't changed a lot, & I was startled last year to see how very little Tessa had changed since last I saw her. Clearly good genes--the woman doesn't look like she's aged a bit so a current photo would be much like seeing the one that's posted here. ; >

Hi Linda,
Any chance of getting permission from Terry/Tessa/Ursula to get a photo of them recently to put on the site? Do you know if they have visited your website?
regards
Bryan

Truly a lovely family, inside as well as out. I feel privileged to have gotten to know them. Tessa's a sweetheart & to this day (I saw her last year) as beautiful as in this photo, taken well over 10 yrs ago. Hardly no make-up when I saw her! She doesn't need it.

Terry's a good-hearted man w/an excellent work ethic, & a gentleness about him which I imagine is reminiscent of his dad. Continues to be handsome & according to Tessa, "looks more & more like Daddy every day."

Bob & Ursula had a solid home life & made sure their kids grew up w/a sense of grounding & real-life home living. Bob didn't like the limelight, especially in "later" years when he became a father, & never had his kids thinking he was anything special ... except that, in their eyes, he was special because he was their father.

What a gorgeous family, I wish he could have seen you now.. I spoke to a man who worked on the ranch before Roberts death, he cant say enough nice things about the family, and especially Robert who he sais was always a gentleman in every way, and treated everyone the same.. what a loss. Donna.

What a wonderful picture of Robert Taylor family. He is my favorite actor and I just read Ursula book of Life Before, With and After Robert Taylor. It was wonderful to get an inside look at him during their marriage.
