Interesting story Carol and interesting past. I love these things. I think it deserves its own thread. And as for me, I have much in common with Bob but not an ancestor, LOL.

Carol: If you're ever in my area visiting your cousin--& Jefferson certainly is not far away--most definitely, please let me know! And if you have a logical, valid way to get free roam in Forest Lawn, I highly suggest you do visit Forest Lawn. If you have relatives there for whom you can show tangible proof, go for it (I had my g-grandfather's burial book w/all info). As for Bob Taylor, you might have a lineage chart which could help ... but Bob's grave IS behind lock & key.

Carol: No worries. This is a group that shares what they have, & enjoys what others post ... most all, of course, about our common connector, Bob Taylor. I'm sure you'd find that the folks here would be interested in that lineage. I live not far from that York, PA & connected areas & have often been curious about how many direct lineage folks there might still be there who would be able to track themselves to Bob Taylor's family line ... I'm sure there are quite a few.

Carol: I'm DELIGHTED to find a Brough (Brugh) family member join in w/our group of growing Robert Taylor fans! How did you find us? I hope you'll feel comfortable enough to add info about your common ancestor, your knowledge &/or general interest in Bob Taylor (or as your family line would've known him, Arly) ... & any photos you come across.

We look forward to your participation in the forum!
