At 2:37am on June 16, 2008, Jeff Wayne said…: My Mom and Dad were big Taylor fans so they saw his films in his "hey day" as a kid I watched him on tv because Mom and Dad liked him, and his pictues are easy to like and admire and want to watch again. It was such a pleasure to see my own kids like him as much, and are fans. I have in Hollywood met a number of people who worked with Taylor and only had good things to say. I live near Northridge and have met a few old timers who actually knew Robert Taylor and Barbra Stanwyck, and there stories are about two people who loved each other. I am taking nothing away from where their lives went, but in the time these people knew them, they were very much in love. Anyhow I am going to tell friends and fans about Linda's book and website, and hope to chat with other Taylor fans.
